During late 2019 and throughout 2020, I have been working on a book called Cyber-physical Systems: Theory, Methodology, and Applications, published by Wiley in May 2022.
I tried to make a systematisation of the research lines carried out by the CPSG, but more importantly I argue in defence of a scientific theory of CPS composed by three constitutive layers. This textbook is expected to provide the fundamentals of such a holistic approach to engineering.
